Summer pictures

This is Hudson's first time out on the boat. It took him awhile to get use to his life jacket but he ended up having a great time. He really liked riding on the tube!


Here is Huddy sitting by the monkeys at the zoo. We went in this restaurant to cool off and the whole back wall was a window into the monkey cage and this one came right up to Hudson! He thought it was so funny and we got some great pictures.


This is after his bath one night in his robe and slippers. He is so so sweet before bedtime. This is one of my favorite pictures of him because he looks so grown up.


Here is little dude in the pool at the condo in Destin. He wasn't too fond of the beach so we spent most of our time at the pool which he LOVES!

Hello Summer!!!

Sorry it has been so long since I have put up a new post. It has been a busy couple months for our little family. We had a perfect 1st Mother's Day and loved spending time with all of our family. Hudson was also dedicated on Mother's Day which was a very special day that we will never forget. We also took Hudson to the beach for the first time and we had a blast, although it was not quite as relaxing with an eight month old! For Memorial day we went spent the weekend at Chickasaw state park riding 4wheelers, golfing, and relaxing. So much has happened in these past couple months it is hard to talk about everything but I will put of lots of pictures...(since I know that is what everyone wants to see!)

Busy Busy Bee!

Life is crazy right now but I am loving every second. I am really enjoying staying home with Huddy and am not looking forward to the day I have to go to work. Hudson gets more active everyday and is amazing me with all that he can do. He is sitting up wonderfully on his on and is so content to play in the floor with his toys. He is eating fruits and veggies and loves EVERYTHING! He is a great eater. We are looking forward to warm weather to be able to take him to the park and play outside. We also booked a trip to Destin in May with some friends and can not wait!!! It is a much needed and deserved vacation. We booked a photo session with a photographer down there and can't wait to have some beautiful new pictures for the apartment. Although life seems to never slow down, I wouldn't trade a minute of it!

Snow Angel

Hudson had a blast playing in all the snow we got! Ok he really had no idea but we sure had a good time taking pictures and made lots of memories with him. We also booked a trip to Destin in May and can't wait! There is nothing cuter than a little baby on the beach. We need and deserve a vacation and hope the next three months fly by! I also signed up to start selling Thirty-One products and am very excited about this new venture. I look forward to meeting new people and hopefully starting a new hobby! Way over due...

Sorry that it has taken so long to update our blog but it has been a crazy month for us so far. Hudson is FINALLY sleeping through the night, even though it took two trips to the doctor and a pricy new formula, it was well worth the trouble! Also this month, Matt's dad and stepmom came to Memphis and we had a great time visiting with them. This past weekend I was able to spend time with all of my favorite girls in my life. As a Christmas present for my Nana, all the girls in my family got together for dinner and we went to see Jersey Boys, which was incredible!!! I LOVE my family and am so thankful for our special bond. Hudson also experienced his first snow and although he had no idea what was going on, I was able to capture a few pictures for his baby book. And this picture I posted is the first time he sat up by himself for a long time! We can not believe how quick he is growing! Matt has also started his last spring semester of college and is soo close to graduating! Although it has been a very busy start, we are looking forward to a wonderful year with our new family and many more firsts together.

Ringing in the new year

HAPPY 2010! We had a wonderful holiday season with our friends and family. Hudson got spoiled rotten with so many toys and gifts. He is such a lucky little boy to be so loved! We also had a great time visiting Chattanooga for Kara's wedding. So glad Hudson FINALLY got to meet all of aunts! We also loved spending the day with Rusty and Tara. It was a great weekend but we are glad to be back home and are looking forward to an exciting new year with our little man! (I know Hudson will probably kill me for this bath picture one day but it is so cute! I had to post it!)

The power of prayer

Thank you everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers today. Everything went perfectly and I am cancer free! Amazing news! We are so glad that it if over and that we do not have to worry anymore. We feel so loved after having so many people come by and show their support for us and let us know that they were thinking of us and praying for us. I feel wonderful and am in very little pain. Just looking foward to going home tomorrow and getting to see our families fo Christmas! God is so good! Mom and dad brought Hudson by or a short visit but we are just dying to get home with him! Thanks again for all of your thoughts and prayers over the past couple of days!
